My journey to the Emerald Isle was in October/November of 2005. It was one of the few trips where I remained in a single country for the entire duration of my travels. I began in Dublin and then headed to Cork with a side trip to Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone! From there, I headed further west to Killarney and Killarney National Park which I biked (This was my favorite thing in Ireland). I then toured the Ring of Kerry and headed up to the Cliff of Moher. I then stopped in Galway with a day trip to the Aran Island which was fascinating to see Gaelic so commonly spoken. I then went to Donegal (where part of my family originated). I then headed into Northern ireland (seperate location). Before returning from whence I started Dublin!
