My Peru trip covered 2 weeks(in October 2005) and a lot of territory. I began in Lima and headed south to Pachacamac and to the Nazca lines. After taking my flight over the Nazca lines, I continued by bus south east up in elevation to Arequipa for one day. From there I continued up further into the Andes to Puno (a place I loved) as I was there for the Puno Festival and was the launching place to Lake Titicaca and the floating reed islands and Isla De Taquille. From Puno, I ventured to Cuzco where I spent several days in the town of Cuzco, in the Sacred Valley, and of course my pilgrimage to Machu Picchu. I then flew back from Cuzco to Lima where I returned to Los Angeles.
