I am so tired....just wanted to update you that after I wrote you...I had a bite to eat and calmed down.  I then called Elyashiv and Gadi.  They were busy at school but Elyashiv was nice enough to come meet me and let me drop off my bags, have some coffee and then he went back to school and I went to Old Jerusalem.   Elyashiv and Gadi are a gay couple that are studying at the Hebrew University here in Jerusalem.   They both speak Hebrew and English and seem very nice.  I was getting worried because I checked out some cheap backpacker hostels and the cheapest was $40 a night and at 4 nights that would have been 160 dollars...money I would rather use for souvenirs and entrance fees.  Plus it is nice to have local people to help you out.
I then went to wander around Old Jerusalem but it was getting late....I got hopelessly lost again....this is worse than Venice, Istanbul or Izmir.....THe city is sectored off into Jewish Quarter, Armenian Quarter, Christian Quarter, and Muslim Quarter. I started off in the Jewish Quater and ended up in the Muslim Quarter then the Armenian and Icouldn't find my way back.  It is an amazging city and I can't help but think that this is filled with so much history....reminds me of Sunday School! LOL.   Tomorrow I will really hit the streets and take pictures....The temple mound, the wailing wall, the garden of gethsamane, the crucifixion the tombs, King David, etc.   Should be wonderful!
Just wanted to let everyone know I calmed down and got situated with lodging...until tomorrow..
