I'm in our room using Craig's laptop to send out this final email from Rome....not sure how much internet I will have on the cruise. After I wrote last night....Craig and I headed to the Coloseum and then walked through the ruins of the Roman Forum which I absolutely love strolling through the antiquities. We then went to the tomb of the uknown soldier at Vittorio Emmanuel Monument and then over to the Pantheon which is what our national capitol in DC is designed after. The sun had set and we just strolled around the streets, back streets and alleys of Rome...beautiful. We then went back to the Trevi Fountain where we ate at a little pizzeria and had gelato again. We then strolled over to the famous Spanish Steps and visited the place where Percy Shelly and Keats lived together in 1800 overlooking the spanish steps. We then walked back to our hotel at 9 pm and rested for a bit and then at 10 pm we went out for some night life. We didn't get back until 1 am....i fell right asleep. The next thing I knew Craig was sayings "It's 9:30"...I couldn't believe I slept that late. So now we are just packing up and gathering our stuff and going to head out to lunch and wait for our pick up at 2 pm to the port where we will get on our ship. Tomorrow morning we will wake up in Naples.
