I arrived in Malaysia by plane from Bangkok. As soon as I arrived in Penange I was welcomed and helped by locals. I stayed in Georgetown and toured the many sites of the island including colonial sites, mosques, jungle, and temples. I then took a bus over to Peninsular Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur where I stayed with a person from Couch Surfing who was a great hostess. Kuala Lumpur, while a huge bustling metropolis, had plenty to see and do. I also took a day tour to Batu Caves and I had to visit Petronas Towers however, they are no longer the tallest building.
