I woke up at 8:30 groggy.  They gave us a nice little contental breakfast I just want to land. I am so scared and nervous.  The plane landed about ½ hour late.  Had to go through customs and get luggage as I got off the customs Vivano, John and Massimo were waiting with me with a sign.  The all smoked and spoke a little English and Spanish.  We stopped at the San Paulo Basicllica.  Beautiful.  St. Paul buried there.  Then drove around downtown Rome to Massimos place.  Paulo was there. He made us lunch, pasta, Italian sausage, cookies from Sienna.  Wine all over and champagne. I felt so special so I took a sip and spit it out in the bathroom and pourd the rest out.   I felt lost in the conversation.  At 3 Viviano and John left and Masimo and I walkd to the Presidents Palace and change of guards.  Fountain Trevi, Spanish Steps, Piazzo, Augusts Mausoleaum another plaza, Pantheon, Forum, Colloseum and the hill.  Many Bggers.  Got postcards, and stamps money changed.  Back to Massimos place and rested.  Almost fell asleep.  Then at 8:30 Mario showed up very funny little enlgish.  We went to Gay Pizzareir…appetizers Zuchini and Onion fired, Pissage egs, ham olive and artichockes.  Then Tiramituse and water. It was beautiful..Lisa, Massimo, Viviano John, Me, Marco, and Paulo.  The asked me to stay in Rome until Wednesday…got home at 12:30 AM. I’m sho thankful everything worked out and all that I got to see.  Such old stuff it overhwlms me.  The weather was kind of dreary but no rain.  Tomorrow to Vatican.  I elft odd at dinner cuz I didn’t speak the language.
