Welcome to Rhoades Less Traveled!

ImageHi my name is Keith Rhoades and I am an adventurist/travel writer. I have created this website to showcase locations I have traveled around the world both in my own backyard of the United States and Globally.  My goal is to help other backpackers and travelers with their journeys and also work with publishers and tourism boards with their publications, literature, and brochures.

Please check back often as I am always adding new content including "Trip of the Week" and Photos! Drop me a line and say hi, let me know a place to showcase or to request to be put on my mail list.

Travelling once again...

ImageWednesday I will be leaving for Minneapolis, Chicago, and Peoria to visit old friends, family, relatives, and visit the sites of my past and my heritage...a journey into my past, my ancestry.  This trip is very symbolic...it's the symbolism  of the passing of the old, the memory of those who lived and who I knew, the journey of the "Roads" I've traveled and the paths my life has crossed. I will be updating as I go along this journey over the next two weeks....click here for the latest update...

“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.”
